LibertySurf (ha!)

Anyone thinking of shelling out 20 quid for the Libertysurf connection pack don't bother.
I have been trying to get online with this so called free isp for over a week and constantly get a line busy message. It seems the only thing you're at Liberty to do is sit by your computer swearing. And don't bother trying to phone the helpline either, that's permanently engaged as well. It's a good job I kept my proper isp or I'd have been Scoobynetless for a week!

BT internet are also crap.
I have just tried to connect (which it did quite quickly) but you cannot load scoobynet unless you are prepared to wait for (at least) half a ***kin hour.
Aol pages load quickly.
Rollon the information highway!!!!!!! (or has it already happened???)

I'm on ntl's ntlworld.com, 0800 access and no other charges. Connects first time every time, decent line speed (49333 where I am) and registration's a breeze. Very much recommend it.
Apparently LineOne's 0800 service is good too...

Yeah BT are blox ( say that several times quickly). So in touch with the internet are they that you can't even complain about thier **** poor service on line, you have to use the phone, thats if somone picks up. Thank God I kept my Demon account which works perfectly and works everytime and doesn't need you to redial every 5 minutes to re-establish a dropped connection
I suppose you get what you pay for as normal

Have to agree with Richard.
Once you get an NTL CD, it's no worries, though I'll be interested to see what appears on my phone bill, hopefully nothing. Yes, I've checked it does dial an 0800 number, but I'm paranoid.
The trick is getting a CD in the first place, I was waiting over two months from registration. Maybe it's because i was an existing NTL customer, cynical I know, but a logical conclusion, I think.
Having got the CD, it has only dropped the line a couple of times and never said been unable to establish a connection. Is a little slow, but I can live with that.
