my front tyres are bald as ****, back ones seen to have **** loads of tread left, do i need to buy 4 or can i just buy 2 new front ones.

the reason i ask is because sum1 told me cos its 4wheels drive, if u just change 2 it can **** ya box up??

I have always changed the tyres in two's and have experienced no prblems.

You will find the STi especially wears tyres and a faster rate at the front due to the larger brakes, engine weight and cornering.

If there is loads of tread at the rear, your not going 2 have a problem, slapping 2 new tyres at the front.

 

probably ok to change just the front but get the same kind

You can get away with two ... depends how worn the remaining two are, I would always change four ... but its "expensive" as I found out recently. Not like the Vauxhalls though.

Easy way to stop this happening..change them round regularly.. you lazy .. only joking ! I have always done this, to avoid the question of can I just put two new ones on, in rallity it's no more expensive, it just comes all at once !
