Anyone else put up CCTV to watch their Scoob?
Just spent the last two days up ladders and drilling holes (suprised I've got any finger nails left I banged 'em that many times 'cos my hands were so cold and numb!). Put up 3 cameras linked to a switching unit and TV in the bedroom, they are PIR activated and the switch box automatically selects the activated camera and switches your TV to see, can also have it beep at you if the TVs off when a camera is triggered! The marvels of modern technology, took a while but dead chuffed with the results. There's something so satisfying about doing a good job yourself and not forking out for a pro to do it! Pretty cheap too all in. Anybody else done anything like this?
Hmmm.... How paranoid do I sound....???

If my beloved scooby went missing i`d rather not see the c*nts that stole it. I did consider that but not much good to you really - tracker would be better. Does it come on every time the milkman, postman and everyone else walk past the car?
Got CCTV overlooking front drive. I came back home one day to find the police on my drive wanting to see the tape as there had been a mugging earlier that day. Sure enough the guy who snatched a handbag was on tape. Police said it was evidence of a crime and took tape away.
Pele - Got the stuff from Wickes - decent price compared to other places really.
Steve777 - All I have told the world is that someone on this forum has CCTV??? What's the problem with that? I didn't exactly print my address and registration number now did I
Anyway I'd rather have a shot at some evidence if anything should happen (touch wood). In terms of burgalars - they'd have to be pretty darn daft to break into the house for keys etc. Bit of a dog lover me, three bull terriers and two rottweilers

I just stick the missus outside at night when I go to bed. She's got her own little hut she sits in whilst she watches vigil. In there she keeps a stack of Woman's Own magazines dating from March 1994 to May 2001, box of chocolate biscuits and an ickle wall mounted rollin pin
Just get a forking big dog, and chain it to the front of the car.
