Unhappy

Hi All

My MY95 is not feeling very well at the mo, idles quite high 1200+ and it sounds like its running on three. Pulling away is very slow, clears a little as revs pick up, and i can here turbo spin up. Im thinking plugs, HT leads or something along thoose lines anyone know what else i should check.

Thanks
Simon
Ps No engine check light on at the moment

Alternatively short out the diagnostic plugs under the steering column and see what fault codes are present. Dunno if youre familiar with this procedure but Ive used it a few times.

Regards

Richie

Hope shes well soon

Hi Si
Sorry the beast is poorly - could be dozens of things - get it plugged into the diagnostics at your local friendly Scoob dealer M8

Richie,

Can you post some details of how to do this procedure please?

Also, can anyone remember the site to show you how to do the ECU reset?

James

Cool

Si,

HT leads? I think tne MY95 has individual coils on top of each plug. These are prone to failing which is why they went back to a more conventional setup in 97.
Absolute pain to get at as well, best left to those in the know I think.

Let us know how you get on.
