Hi all,

Can someone tell me whether the 555 sti limited edition, model number GC8C4ED has the very short RA box or just the normal sti gearbox?

Short box as far as I know,

150mph @ 7500 rpm

Can you tell by just looking at the box itself or is it an internal thing ? ( I`ll pop in the garage if its visual )

Not the same box/ratio's short box, but not as short as a RA

 

Agreed with Ken - 555 Edition has a shorter box than standard STi's but not as short as the RA's

I have had the RA's (Group N) gearbox put into my 555

Do you mean BK (not BJ)?

If there were two versions of stickers then it may well be that - does cashy have stickers and if so which ones?

As far as I know all our 555's had the following -

Power aieral on boot (mine was removed)
Air Con
Roof vent just hole (mine has directional blow things - prolly from later 555 v3 upwards)
Electric mirrors/locks
Rear wash/wipe (mine has had wash removed)

Yeah that what i wanted to hear, i havent bought a subaru yet, i was just trying to find out which box the 555 had as i dint want the RA box as this is too short.

Just found another 555 edition on the net with all the stickers on, plus one guy mentioned the seats have colin mcraes signature on?????

 

Is it the version 2 555 Edition - this was the only edition to be offically called the 555 Edition - there were later cars like the 555 Edition (v3 upward to 6) but these were officaly called Limited (or V-Limited) - I think either that has had the seats changed or is a later edition - whats the plate?

Did have a thought, there was 2 versions of the stickers, Colin or Carlos.

I wondered if Colin was BJC ?

Carlos stickers, power aerial on rear wing, air-con, roof vent thats just a hole, electric mirrors/locks, rear wash/wipe
