Question

Anyone tried it? Does it work?

And does it make cleaning my dusty alloys easier?

Ta AL

I've used the spray-on "protectors", if that's what you mean, into the impossible-to-get-to places.

But it's no substitute for removing the wheel, cleaning it properly, and waxing with a decent wax.

Takes a long time, but cleaning afterwards is a piece of cake for months.

No it's not that. The stuff is actually called Wheel Wax It comes in a little tub.

I think you can get it from demon tweeks too - at some astronomically inflated price

Thumbs up

Got a tub of this stuff from demon tweeks about 12 months ago, and it works!

Dont know about the brake dust wiping off, having never tried it, but it easily comes off when you wash the car, no need to scrub the alloys clean. The stuff even works on the inside of your alloys!

Dont worry about the price because you only need to use the stuff twice a year, so a tub will last quite a few years!

Highly recommend it,

Oatcake

Ta Oatcake. I think I'll give it a whizz.

Anything that saves me resorting to a toothbrush is a benefit

did a test, althought the finish looks good but the waxed tyres makes the wheels a lot dirtier a lot quicker and are not easy to clean either. recommend just srubbing with a brush using just water
