fitting new plugs

Question

Has anyone succesfully changed their own spark plugs and if so how did you do it?

moz i have and the job takes about 40 mins,what you have to do is take out the airbox,take out the battery,then get the right length socket bars,the plugs at the back of the engine are a bit tricky but with alot a wriggling it can be done, i found the best gap size for the plugs was 0.7mm,tried 1.0mm first but the boost was blowing out the spark,hope that helps.

Howdy...

If you have the right length sockets/extension.. you can do it from underneath.. without having to remove anything..

You can do it with the battery in place... but its tight.

From above the air intake system has to be removed.
