Question

I have a problem with the offside windscreen wiper lifting off from the screen when driving at speed....it's fine up 'till around 50 mph, then it progressively begins to lift off until eventually it isn't really wiping at all. I don't have this problem with the passenger side. I'm using the Bosch wipers with the spoiler on the drivers side. Having read the threads on the subject, I'm at a loss as to what to do, unless anyone has some fresh ideas or thoughts on the subject...could it be a faulty spring on the wiper arm for instance? etc. etc.

It's at the top of the wiper blade, ie roof-side not bonnet-side. ?

Its the wrong way round - spoiler should be at the front facing the oncoming wind (ie so you cant see it from the driving seat) - the way yours is fitted the air flow will force the wiper off the screen at speed

Okedokes, thanks for that. I'll try that configuration and let you know if that sorts it! 'Course it won't rain now for ages (I don't think!)

Henri,

Come to Central England - it's raining all the time at the moment....

I also have the Bosch wipers and I also put them on the wrong way round initially - the instructions are pretty poor I think - or maybe I didn't read them...

Thanks

Gavin

I fitted them the wrong way too.

Its easy to do because the plastic adaptors come fitted back to front, you have swop them over before fitting
