Angry

...you join the motorway at 40 mph depite having ample power to match the speed of the traffic!

Why?!

You may think you are being safe but it is the DIFFERENCE in speed between you and the truck that is roaring up behind you AND all the cars you have forced to join at the same speed behind you!!!

Wink

Try getting out of bed on the other side tomorrow .... it may help

If not, then anger management classes and a healthy dose of Prozac should do the job

This tends to irritate me too and it does feel rather unsafe joining the motorway at grandma's speed. However, most sliproads are wide enough for over-taking so where safe just blast past em.

Edited for spling

throw coins at the back of his car every couple of secs - when he gets out - nip in front - job done and justice served

If you are joining the motorway it is your responsibility to fit in with the traffic already on it which has the right of way!

This one really bugs me!!!

I always dial up about 90mph going up or down a slip road and then pick a safe spot to join and 'brake' into it. I find this allows seemless flow of trafic, is fun (the accelerating bit ) and safe because once you've picked your spot its a lot easier to shed 20mph that to gain it if you have to accelerate into it.

Nearly every car can be doing 70mph by the end of a slip road, they were designed to be that length for a reason. There is no excuse!

On some expressways in Pennsylvania, I've seen a Stop sign at the bottom of the entrance ramp. WTF...
