God, I must be bored, but I bet this makes for interesting reading.

Everyone always concentrates on the best mods but what is the crappiest piece of poo you've ever been stupid enough to buy?

A tax disc. Provides me with no discernable benefit over others that don't bother.

Traded a MY99PPP in against a 22B. Cost me £20k for some wide arches, 55 BHP and 40 lbft. Shesh!

I'm sure poly bushes are not the WORST mod you can have on your car!!!

They are the worse mod for lazy people (such as myself)!!!

Probably the worst mod for me was "carbon fibre effect film"

Put it on all my vents and wotnot inside the car.

Looked really cool when first applied but I should have clicked when the instructions said to "heat with a hairdryer to aloow it to strctch to the desired shape" and I was putting it aroung my HOT AIR VENTS.

Guess what happened?

As soon as I put my blowers on it all bubbled off and looked shat.

Steve,

They did on the silver car. The blue one, well you bought bits that I *TOOK* off and replaced with 'better' items!!

But sadly although they most of the bits made it on to the car, they didn't stay for long!!

Clear side indicators - contrary to popular belief - THEY DO NOT IMPROVE PERFORMANCE!

luckily didn't buy it,but had a bomex metal wing put on my scooby by revs car mag for a feature a couple of years ago.really don't do this to your car.after the guy had fitted it and they were taking photos of it i stood back and thought 'that looks really sh*t'.didn't look anything like the pics on the web i had seen, might have looked ok on a silver scoob but it just looked crap on my red one.
still, sold it a month later and it paid for a V5 spoiler.silver cloud and all that!
