Thumbs up

Not entirely Scooby related, but..

Has anyone played Rally Masters for the PC ?

It's a top game, like Sega Rally, lots of sideways slidey stuff.

In single player it's rather dull, but it's net-enabled, so you can race with up to 15 other people around the world.

Your car also suffers damage, like punctures, gearbox probs etc, depending on how you treat your car.

Last night I was in a championship involving a guy in New Zealand, Italy, Finland and others dotted around Europe. Unlike Quake games, there's very little lag, making it very smooth.

I reckon it'd be rather neat if we all got together for a virtual race !

Anyone for a race ?

i'd be interested in a race, bought it myself a few weeks back.

gr8 game, just not played much yet ! to busy with real scooby

not tried it over the net, tend to play Quake / Kingpin etc but playing something with no lag would be good !

do you use wireplay?

I just downloaded the latest server list from the RM website, and connected direct (not through wireplay).

I've *heard* (or rather, read) that Wireplay etc. slows you down.

However, as I have a PIII 1000Mhz machine, I prob. wouldn't notice

Go here for the latest server list, go here:

There is a mailing list for Impreza owners who like playing games on the PC and PSX.

They can be found at

ISDN ? Leased line matey !

OK, it's only a 64K leased line, but it means I have a permanent connection at home and don't have to worry about running up a bill reading the BBS and playing online games.. in fact.. as I've paid for it.. I better use it !

It costs around £4,000 a year

ASDL is definitely the way forward, but

a) It's not available yet
b) When it is available, my luck says my area won't be covered.

And like the rather tacky Brian May song goes, "I want it all, and I want it now !"
