What's the best and loudest dump valve for a classic, with out hindering performance and lag ?

recirc dv like the oe you will have causes less problems but you dont get the pssssssssssst sound of a vta. As for performance vta dont add bhp but can reduce lag between gear changes but can also introduce idling/fueling problems. Pays ya money .............

TurboSmart are apparently the loudest out there...

..quite why anyone wants a 130db plus DV is beyond me tho

Stick with the standard one, better for your engine and turbo. Less noise of course, but what are your priorities here?

Edited to say that "performance VTA" valves will not reduce lag between gearchanges. This is an oft-quoted fallacy.

Would like a woooSH but proierty is engine/running. Don't want to cause problems !

i've got aturbo xs rfl which is supossed to the loudest, though you do get used to it after a whille . if you want to get peoples attention then this is what ou want

i heard it was the turbo xs dv which is meant to be the loudest on the market, but i could be wrong

The HKS SSQV is loud. Ver good build quality and won't cause any idle probs. Lots more pops and bangs too!
