Nooooooo!

My local Shell garage has just vanished. It was on the bath road just out of Worcester centre. Tuesday it was there, Thursday its gone !!! No price board No shell logos and No Pumps !!! Nightmare, I had to go to Ledbury today to fill up.

Does anyone know why it has closed ??

Where do worcester scoobies get their fuel from ??

Mark,
Thanks for the clicky, but my point was that the Worcester Shell station is no more, and to travel >20 miles out of my way is a bit extreme, surley there must be a better alterative

Lightning,
Sorry I couldn't find any info, have you got a link ?

I did find this though does any one know if any of these sell SUL ?

Shell garage gone ? Gulp. That is where my fuel account card is for. I'll have to travel up to the Esso garage now I'm hoping that it is temporary and they are about to rebuild it. I doubt it though as it was a quite modern one.

That Shell garage went down hill when it became an independent (SNAX24) a year or so ago.

Nearest Optimax ? No idea. But the Texaco in Malvern Link does their version of Optimax and the BP garage at Ashchurch (Tewkesbury) does their SuperUnleaded which seems to me to be more consistant than the Bath Road Optimax. There again, I don't have a Scoob but the Mazda likes the BP stuff.

Cheers

Ian

hi, Theres a Esso Garage (think its also tescos mini shop) on London road... and if you get your timing right you can see all the young lady's walking home from 6th form

its only 2 min away from the old shell garage, ie go to the bottom of Bath road turn right at the lights and it half way up the hill.

Only 2 pumps have super unleaded so be carefull

Thumbs up

Chris - We've seen each other a couple of times. I've got a dark blue saloon with gaffa tape holding the driver's wing mirror together and the reg. no: S6** **B

(Mental note: Get mirror fixed )

I used to worry about Optimax, and use that Bath Road place but I got tired driving across Worcester to get it. For the past few months I've made do with Super from various places. Can't tell the difference...

Chill, dude.

I put in 5quid of 95RON and then dawdled across to ledbury to fill up with Optimax. However it's a bit of a treck for a tank of fuel so I guess next time I'll try esso SUL on London Road.

Have we passed, I'll keep a look out for you. You can't miss me only V reg P1 you'll see around. There are at least another 2 P1's arund worcester not sure who own's them tho'
