Just wondered what your top tips are for living with the STi8.

Top tip ?

Take a few days of work !, get the 1000 miles done in a day, get the service, enjoy.

 

Change the wheels from Gold to Silver Prodrive PF7's
Add PPP
Fit Suspension kit
Sti Mud flaps
Take it to the Nurburgring

 

And the cheapest of the extras is the £400 mud flaps

Better start saving

really £400 looked in max power £15 LOL

 

Is £15 for the Nova PPP

 

Get a fuel card

Make sure to have regular dentist check ups.

 

Be prepared for low 20's mpg at best, hard ride and lots of stares from bystanders, but when your not sure if it was the right decision go for a blast and it all falls into place

 

If you've driven a classic STI or anything with 270bhp you need to get it PPP'd or you'll end up hating it.
If you haven't then my top tip is to make sure you don't drive a tuned car until you can afford to do it yourself
