What's the best/Easiest way to de-badge boot lid
Heat each badge with a hairdryer for a minute or two, then use some dental floss to "saw" the adhesive away from the paint. If it doesn't go through easily, heat it a little more.
Once you've got the badges off, use WD40, Tar Spot remover or similar to soften and wipe the residue off.

Sharp knife to get under letters then lift off with knife very carfully, did mine took 10 mins to remove all, then 20 to clean all gunk off and polish, alan. BUT GREASEMONKEYS WAY WORKS EVERY TIME SO I READ ?? wish I tried that??? lol cheers ??

Boil the kettle and pour gently over each leter this will melt the adhesive then use fishing line or dental floss to saw the badges off, meths or turps will get left over residue off.
I have heard WD40 does a good job of removing residue as well just spray on leave for 10 mins then rub off....... never used it myself but i dare say worth a try
