Castrol rs 10w/60 was recommended for my sti v2 but i cant find it, will mobil 1 15w/50 be ok to use?

It's not like the Castrol is any better for your engine than the other good oils. The Mobil's fine

mobil 1 it is then! the local halfords are doing 4ltrs for £27 just now.

I've heard plenty of people on here say to make sure it's Mobil 1 Motorsport, not the regular Mobil 1 as it gets too thin when hot. (can't remember what spec either are though - try doing a search on the subject of oil, much has been written about it!)

Tim, think it's safe to say that Johnny already knows this, as the 15w/50 Mobil 1 is the "Motorsport" version

There is two grades of mobil 1 i've noticed, 0w/30 and 15w/50, it's the thicker 15w/50 i was going to use.

Think you can only get the Mobil 1 15w/50 in motorsport formula.
