Heard a few different suggestions on where to put one of these.

Does it really matter because its only relative to read abnormal temperature rises, isnt it?

Current thinking leads me to think the DP would be the best place?

Cheers

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
Post

Xtreme

Does the down pipe have a flat spot on it where a hole can be drilled?

I just welded the mounting boss on to my collector on the up-pipe then drilled a hole through it.. (to make sure it alligned)

then fitted egt probe..

if fitting pre turbo, then watch out for putting swarf in the exhaust.. if after turbo who gives a ****.
