Which ISP do you use & how much is it per month? I`m currently on pay- as- you -go but the bill is getting a bit high so I must find something cheap, on a monthly basis. Thanks, Neil.

for dial-up, have a look at v21. you dial-up into a 0808 (freephone number) and you get about 42 hours per week.

cost £9.99/month but offer is £29.99 for 5 months, so that's 5 months for the price of 3 months.

You won't go far wrong with Claranet.

Voted best Business ISP on the planet 2002.

and they've just bought Netscalibur UK for an """"** un-disclosed sum**""""
Making them the UK’s largest non-telco Internet Service Provider>

Another V21 vote. We upgraded to the £13.99 a month package - very rarely don't get logged on (£9.99 wasn't so good) and something like 250 hours a month and a 4 or 5 hour cut-off. That said, I've never been cut-off and I'm sure I've been on longer.

I use Demon but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I had V21 but binned it due to consistent problems connecting to Scoobynet, something to do with their routers.

If you do a search I'm sure you'll find the (long) thread.

Always worth a look at www.ispreview.co.uk

Cheers,

Phil

Yup V21 Scoobynet problem fixed. Wasn't actually their problem, I ended up as a go between between their support and Griffin support who ran the server giving the problem. V21 on the £13.99 package has been ace since.

im on fast4 - 6.99 a month unlimited cant beat it, also cant get online, well takes ages but cant get broadband so im happy at that price, dials up ok during the day but after 6 it can take 20 tries but use netpal to keep dialing for you and leave it, part of v21
