I have a standard Rb5, what sort of performance improvements would I get from a PE remap?

Cheers Paul

You should find details on their website. Dyno printouts will give you an idea of what to expect.

Paul, I would think you'd be looking at an Ecutek re-map, as I didn't think that PE did their own re-maps on your age car.

There is loads of stuff in Drivetrain about Ecutek which should give you an idea of what is likely.

I've got a Tek3 on my UK 99, and am well happy with it. Would think it is around 280bhp and 260/270lb/ft - well worth the money IMHO.

just had my non prodrive RB5 r/r @ PE today it was running 255bhp and 246lb/ft torque

for £675 they will re-map the ECU with an ECUtek 2 for output of around 280bhp and 270lb/ft torque.

I have a HKS decat d/p and superdragger system and piperX airfilter

My RB5 has had only a few bits done and rolled at 286 bhp and 273ft/lbs of torque at about 34,000 miles. The power differance from standard (non Wr) was VERY noticable. Snap cracle and pop goes the exhaust and since the forge dump valve fitted a short while ago Snap cracle and pop is being joined with flames, not that i can see them

Full decat ScoobySport exhaust
K&N filter
Tec 2 ecu

Happy moding
