Anyone else annoyed at how much of a mission it is to close the boot on a Sti8... grrr.. keep trying to be all gentle and caring.. and it just springs back up!!! Mooooo.... i have to keep twatting it down and im scare im gonna hurt it :s

It is a sod. It's not helped by the fact the boot appears to be made of recycled, lightened coke cans.

Just slam it and wince every time

 

What about the way the lock moves (or rather the metal around the lock flexes) when you open the boot with the key.....

...scares me every time - to the point that I'll open the drivers door and pull the cable release in preference now.

Oh well - at least my bonnet/scoop doesn't flex and vibrate like many are reporting. Steady as a rock, irrelevant of speed.

 

Same on the Bug eye WRXs, can be a pain and it's amusing the way the spoiler "boings" when you close the doors
