What is the MAX pressure level for STD DV then it starts to recirculate air? Im asking it cause ive been told that if you increase pressure (i got Boost controller in my car) then STD DV will not hold it more than STD pressure supposed to be.

At the moment maximum i did was 1.1 kg/cm2 and it was OK. Car is MY95 jspec if it make any diff.

If its true would Blow off like HKS help? Also if true whats going on - does pressure being stuck at some level or it drops?

I have been told that unless you are running more than 350Hp then there is no need to replace the OEM part

could anyone give the answer what BOOST IS STD DV CAPABLE OF. Im currently running about 0.9 bar. Seems everything is OK now. What if i raise to 1.2 bar will DV hold it.
Main reason im asking is that i have HKS BlowOff for a reasonable price but need no woosh and splash but working purposeful device under bonnet. Is it?

 

My mate has an RB5 is running 1.2bar through a standard DV no probs at the moment.
