Snooper SR6 neo here too... mine's half wired (though working) at the mo. Only bit fitted properly is the GPS atenna. Need to tidy the rest of the wiring up.

2 main questions

1. did you open up a lighter socket to hard wire the power.. if so how many wires did you find.

2. where did you place the aerial and did you feed it up through the dash

I took a feed from the fuse box, the aerial is on the rear parcel shelf, with the wire hidden under the trim and up the side of the dash.
If you want some pictures please let me know and O will sort some for you.
In fitting the unit, including the radar / laser detector, I only drilled one hole, and that was for the isolator switch close to the bonnet release.

Was the power supply 2 or 3 wires ?

Cheers m8 that has helped a lot .... I need to find a good auto leccie to help me convert a three wire ciggie lighter to a hard ware setup .... plus I have found there aint no holes at the top of the dash

You can feed wires up the side of the dash. Use a hooked piece of wire to get hold of them.

Could find a way to get the cable through ... has a PS2 style connector which made it more difficult ....
