Yes they are cheap, but so is the service yet get with them!

 

I've been waiting for a set of discs and pads for 5 weeks. Just requested my money back today, hope it comes quicker than the pads did or didnt as the case is.
Shame coz they seemed really nice people when I called up.

 

Yeah currently waiting 3 weeks for a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 215 x 40 x 17 from the same place.

Price was good £135 (although I was quoted £110 by email only 4 days previous), but delivery is going back and back and they seem very keen to give me my money back rather than giving me the tyres.

Current delivery promise is 06/06/03, - it's just a good job the tyres I've currently got are just crap (Avon ZZ1) rather than worn out.

They claim delivery problems from Goodyear ? ? ? ? ? ? ? They are crap at keeping you informed (In my limited experience of 1 order) but that said, I have no reason to doubt their word though at the current moment (but maybe I'm just too trusting - time will tell)

 

I've been promised my tyres for Friday! looks like i shouldn't hold my breath...!

 

Alrighty there Scratch? Ive got some on order as well - been waiting 3 weeks so far. Luckily Im in no hurry as only bought then cos they were such a good deal. Fingers crossed everyone gets sorted.

Same as, ordered on mon 12th still not arrived. Rang on sat and was told they hadn't been sent out yet, now they're saying they've been sent but have been lost by TNT & they've been having problems with them. If they're not here by tomorrow I'm gonna cancel.

 

I was told the TNT thing in the first week of waiting. I was then told they'd been royal mailed coz they'd been lost by TNT. Last week, ( 3 weeks after ordering) I was told they'd be sent out again ! Ah well, least we're all being told the same thing !

 

I ordered a cambelt - and got the wrong one. I'm still waiting for them to put it right. Hopefully tomorrow...

 

Seems like the same bull **** TNT story is being told to everyone! Hope you all used credit cards as you are guaranteed to get your money back that way. If you did, check with your card vendor as I bet the garage took your money the day you placed your order.

 

I ordered 4 x 205/55/16's GY F1 GSD3's last Friday (16th) and given tomorrow (Friday 23rd) as delivery date.

After reading this thread, I called, and apparently they have been delayed, and will arrive Monday (22nd), via TNT.

Fingers crossed that I will ACTUALLY get them - I think my current tyres will hold out a couple of weeks tho, but that's not the point!

 

Ordered 205/50/16 Goodyear F1's and got them a week early no problems , so perhaps it's more to do with problems getting different sizes.
Might put your minds at rest .

 

I've just received my four tyres from Crossroads. Was beginning to think they would never turn up, and they claimed that TNT had tried to deliver (a day before they were due) and found no-one in, so they sent them back without leaving a note.

TNT eventually turned up last Saturday (due on Monday) and delivered exactly what I ordered.

 

Got a letter through this morning with a refund, no explanation. Wasted my time for over 2 weeks & now I have to find more tyres FFS
