Anybody want one... I was speaking to my local engineering shop (they welded the flange to mine) and they will do phase 1 and 2 if required... ** this is not on a while you wait basis **

Could take a few hours so wouldnt want people waiting around..

Mail me if your interested.. ** I'm making no money on this, I will simply give you their details. **

David

I believe that this allows air into the inlet manifold from the front, this would allow shorter pipework for a front mounted intercooler in theory reducing lag.

You couldnt keep aircon.. well you could but you would have to move the alternator.. to near the battery...

Hi David,

Would it be tricky to the point of being impossible? I'm very interested in fitting a FMIC if after I have my engine rebuilt the inlet air temp are too high.

Cheers

This is hard work aint it

Pardon me for being a little thick, but diff between phase 1 and 2? Gonna have a word with the place building my engine, see what they say about moving the alternator ... then i might add a FMIC to the list ...

Cheers

Cool

Amorphia, you dont 'need' a Front entry manifold to run a FMIC. They are generally run with standard manifolds, except for the looney tuners like David

Phase 1 being early 90 degree turbo inlet manifolds, TD05 turbo
Phase 2 being the later straight entry manifolds, TD04 turbo

how much would this cost? Does it use standard thottle body? obviously you would need to move tps and throttle cable, what else etc?

With aircon removed do you still need to move alternator, definately interested in this mod as itd make a front mount much simpler

Cheers Tony..

I just assume people know... phase 1(92-96) phase 1.5 (97-98) and phase 2(00 - 01) also have different bolt patterns
