This is my cav Turbo or was, the transfer box shut down at 120MPH on a big bend, and the rear just swung out. tried to fix it but had no chance then before you know it ive hit a roundabout, and two lights on road sign. very lucky to walk away with not a mark no seatbelt either how stupid am i, this will teach me and make me see sense. posted them up just to show peeps what can happen after you get a big head after just tramping tw oshapp cossie 290bhp+ just started to show off and lost it.

Nice Cav Turbo. The Transfer box is why I didn't get one. Shame it ended up like that.

I can't believe a so called "enthusiast" was not wearing a seatbelt! Putting aside the fact that you were illegal, it's just plain common sense?

Bollox, you can clearly see the hammer on the floor that caused the damage

No, seriously, I can't think of anything better that could happen to a v******l

"the transfer box shut down at 120MPH on a big bend"is this the vauxhall equivalent of the "fuel surge" problem that is well documented by members of the scooby scene?

Few years back a mate had a head on @120mph in a full race tickford 2.8, not wearing a seatbelt, went through the screen and survived with only bruising and servere cuts to the face. The engine was almost in the back seats from the impact. Wonder if he would have survived wearing a belt?

Lol @ Luke

You have to weigh up the chances over the seatbelt Ed, all depends on the circumstances really.

Don't you think that it was the 2 cossies that let you by as they knew there was a corner ahead?

I'm not a cossie owner but I think they had more common sense than you IMHO.

****! That looks like the time Father Ted tried to tap out a dent on a car and went just a bit too far!
