Question

How many of you out there take their wheels off and give them a good clean inside as well. Can't say I've done it myself yet but I must admit I,ve been toying with the idea. Is this taking things a bit too far?

Can't see your point about the CD's ... mine are alphabetical by artist , then chronological by release date ....

.... But I don't clean the inside of the wheels ....

Er.... nothing at all

PS Do you draw outlines around all the tools hanging in your garage so you know where to put them back ????

Lol @ IN THE STICKS

In truth I think I'm just jealous of those organised enough to:

A) Do this with their CD's in the first place
B) Keep their CD's in that order

PS I have been debating taking the wheels off for a proper clean but I think I'll just go and cook myself meals for all of April and label them all prior to freezing, with their ingredients listed and cooking times noted

Orgainsed people.... don't you just hate them

I do.......took them off one at a time, cleaned the crud from the inside of the rim with wet and dry, then re-laquered them. The brake dust doesnt stick as much now,are you aware that Subaru dont bother laquering the inside of the rim?

So since it has been done a simple jetwash leaves the inside of my rims as good as the outside.

Also painted my callipers(black)and hub parts of my discs(silver) as they went rusty and looked cr4p,if your going to do a job you may as well do it properley

It was a sunny Sunday, play with the car or do the garden, easy choice

Later Yoza

Quick tip for keeping the inside of your wheels clean, Halfords 'cough, splutter' have a great tool for doing this 'bigger cough splutter' they do their own wheel brush it's a funny wedge shaped thing and its sponge 'so why they call it a brush I don't know?' tried for the first time on saturday excellent results when combined with some shampoo or wheel cleaner. As for keeping CD's in order no chance the wife just messes them up, but I should really do that marker pen around the spanners thing never can find the 15 or 13mm when I need it.

I HAVE to keep my CDs in alphabetical order because there's so darn many of them....It would drive me bananas if I wanted a particular one and they weren't in order...Also makes changing the 12 in my incar CD player all that more quicker.!

As for the wheels ! Having got a Golf VR6 they are a total pig to clean ! Usually get a quick brush.
