Hi Folks

Getting it done in mext month. (RB5)
Does £470 sounds reasonable?
Also what do they do for that?

Cheers

Do a search for "servicing" or "60k service" , i think a load of results will come back. There is a list somewhere with what is done in the services. Someone will post a link to it , i dont know where it is.

Surely if they snap the belt, then they pay for it??

The timing belt is now part of the 60K service. Is that included in your price? or did you have it done at 45K?

Stef

Got the timing belt done at 45K so will make sure they dont change it again.
I hope the price they quoted me includes the timing belt, so the cost should come down.

Cool

yeah my basic understanding was around £450 for cambelt un & £300 for spark plug styleee un which 60k is.
Just basic guidelines as i recall but then i dont care i got 90k coming up which is both so circa £700 im looking at so dont moan too much

No they won't pay for the tensioner if they break it, but I thought it was a cambelt service so ignore my previous Jas
