i have seen a car advert and it mentions V car.

What does V car mean?

 

It means it's on Vehicle Condition Alert Register (Vcar).

Which can mean one of a number of things.....

Stolen recovered
Damaged (CAT A,B,C or D )
On finance and the finance company are looking to re-posses it (which if it's advertised as V car then it's highly unlikely this will be the case ! )

Most likely to be damaged repaired....find out it's history then check it out with previous owners, repairing garage, ins company etc....

There are GENUINE bargains to be had sometimes even though it's a damaged repaired car AS LONG AS IT'S BEEN REPAIRED 100%

It usually results in a vehicle being circa 25-30% cheaper than normal !

If I had 3K spare + my car I would go for the black Evo 5

 

I was browsing on Autotrader and saw a Evo 4 with Evo 6 body kit.

Seems a bit dodgy as it claims to have 400bhp with stage 4 Rally Art ECU and he does not any dyno proof.

My car is due for a 53K service soon, Road Tax and the gearbox mounting needs replacing

EVO 4 r nice, but prefer the 5/6. They look meaner.

Funny how this post went from V Car to Evo/Next cars.
