Awful day Got in car this morning, strong smell of alcohol and licorice (spelling!). Nearly passed out on the way to work!

Drove home again & was the same. Looked all over the car, worried about fluid leaks etc. Got to the boot. Fumes almost blinded me

I keep my de icer in a knotted carrier bag in the boot. Its that stuff from Halfords wich is like a squirty thing. Seems that when I lobed a sack of coal and a terrocotta plant pot in the boot on Sunday I cracked the bottle as it was underneath

It has then leaked out, a whole new bottle into the boot. The lining has soaked up most of it, bit the rest ran into the spare wheel hole.

Ive had the lot out, in the cold & dark tonight. Cleaned the boot liner carpet thing with 1001 stuff. Now drying over shower curtain rail he he.

i once had a old car battery in the boot of a mota, as i was taking it to the dump i must have been driving hard the i stopped off at a mayes the acid went every where in the boot and over the spare.

Did exacctly the same with a brand new bottle of tyre cleaner/shine.I must have the greasiest<sp?>boot ever and a very stained carpet

 

I went to B&Q, and bought 30litres of emulsion, took one tub out of the boot, got in the car a week later, forgot about the paint, and hacked it off to a scooby meet, paint everwhere by the time I got there!!
It all came of though!
