Apparently the Subaru driver parked on the grass runway at this Australian air day while aircraft were still using it. Makes parking on the outside lane of the M1 look tame. Surprisingly, there were no injuries, apart from the driver's pride.

Some years ago I was on the A1 when a glider dropped neatly on the road in front of me. It was my first car with ABS and a brown inlay on the driver's seat fabric. I stopped some 4 feet short of it. I always look up when passing the same place even now.

Looks like the anti terror tactics in major airports is working. Terrorists now have to resort to using single seater light aircrafts..

On a slighty more serious note. AFAIK most insurance companies do not cover cars on active airfields! That car may not have a claim unless claiming off the plane owner/ins company of course!

"There was this guy on scoobynet who sold me this new rear wing, he didnt send me any pics but said it was massive, anyway, I ordered it and didnt think it was right but tried to fit it anyway, i must have done something wrong, it has a black box so I can submit this as evidence.... hello? insurance agent?? hello...?"
