Haven't even bothered putting a sound sytem in it yet! Who needs one when you've got a super dragger???

Yeah, I guess I'm a fan, since I own some 14 Rush studio albums. However, I'm not so much into the old progressive rock - thus listening much to the mid-80's Rush, which is not considered so good by the hardcore fans.

The words of Red Barchetta really rule - gotta try that. Also, "Driven" from "Test for Echo" is a Must.

Too bad I can't afford a decent car stereo right away - just bought a Sony CDX-C7850R head unit - probably will upgrade the rear speakers as soon as possible, before a complete amp/woofer/front tweeter -kit.

On the other hand... perhaps that flat-four of Scooby's is enough music for a newbie :-)

Picked my first scooby up this morning.
What can I say that you haven't heard before?!
My face hurts from grinning so hard!
Only 2 miles from the garage and a TVR wanted to race at the lights! (didn't oblige)
Anyway I'm off out again, I'm looking for another scooby to wave to!

Congrats! I can fully relate to your feelings soon, since I'm picking up my first-ever new car, and thus my first Scooby on friday! My previous cars were '77 Vauxhall 1.2 and '89 Lancia Prisma 1.3, so...

By the power of energy drinks and sugar overdose, it WILL be driven in properly by sunday.

The grinning just doesn't stop does it!
Keeping it under 4000 rpm is a bit tricky tho'
just done 156 miles over glorious empty wiltshire roads and the only shock was the fuel gauge! I thought I was looking at the rev counter the needle was moving so quick!
Ari, it is sooo well worth the wait, start training those face muscles .

Having read a LOT about the fuel consumption of Scoobys, I think I'll find it relatively easy to drive very carefully the first 1000 miles - half mpg compared to my previous cars at starters could be a shock. I'll be just concentrating on how other people stare at me. I exclusively bought my first-ever sunglasses (that fix bad eyesight) because of this occasion. I think my eyes will sparkle and twinkle so that other people would go blind.

Besides, if I was allowed to floor it at once, I'd probably get an permanent facial injury.

Fortunately, fueling up the tank will always reset the muscles back to normal position...until you start up the engine once again.

Hey, nobody just said anything about Marillion yet. I'm as much fan of theirs as Rush's.

Here's an objective fact, NOT an opinion (so it can't be argued : Misplaced Childhood and Fugazi are the best two albums ever recorded by anyone.

Not to forget the subject and the hype; One, I repeat, one (1) more night, and then she will be mine... oh yes... she will be mine..

Bugger! Buggerbugger! I'm not getting my car today, but on next tuesday! The installation of the bloody air/con had taken so much time from the importer that the car arrives my dealer today, which makes them possible to change the tyres and do some initial service on monday...

back to 4 nights of waiting... althgouh I can go and see my car (and sit in it) already tomorrow. Can't wait even for that!
