My son told me at the weekend his mum, my ex wife asked him to wash her car in return for going swimming, but he dropped the sponge half way through which got covered in grit and stones but he carried on anyway, covered in scratches, thats my boy!

Dropping the sponge and carrying on must be a kid thing, mine did that on a brand new golf convertible!! I'll stick to washing my STi I think.

Thumbs up

He'll also come in handy for changing headlamp bulbs.... looks like his hands are maybe just small enough

My eldest loved cleaning when he was about 2. (Wish it stayed with them!!!)
He once rushed up and "helped" with the front of our new Sierra with a wire brush:, and on another occasion, he "cleaned" my plate of fish, chips and peas with a floorcloth just as I sat down with them, and I didn't have time to stop him:
Little darlings aren't they????

just left the little darlings for a mo' washing off the suds with a hosepipe ...... came back to find said hosepipe going full blast up the exhaust pipe.

.... mmmmmmmmm.

Fits quite well, actually and is an obvious place to put the hose pipe.

Dropping sponges is great, we used to do that all the time when washing cars in 'bob-a-job' week! Was much more fun that getting a mouthful of rusty, oily water when siphoning oiltank catchpits!

Its when you let them help and dont tell them the interior is out of bounds that its gets messy, i know.
