I can not believe what just happened????!!!!!?????

To cut along story short, i had a crash (more details and pics to follow) but was wondering if it will be classed as an write-off?

I know without pics etc its hard to say but my car is an import and have been told that nearly any bang is a write-off due to getting hold of parts? Is this true?

Any help/advice would be great.

PS Will this mean my insurance will triple?

 

you will find that virtually all UK parts fit on a jap, its only the dealers and scaremongers who tell you different. Thats apart from the WRX stickers...
We had 5000 worth of damage done to ours in a front & rear shunt and the bodyshop simply sent the local Subaru dealer a list of the parts required (they never questioned it being an import) easy as that.
I'm sure they all come off the same production line, then they take off all the goodies for the UK spec ones and inflate the prices.
