"Charlton Athletic have demanded their Premiership game against Chelsea be replayed because of the state of the Stamford Bridge pitch."

I've seen better Sunday league pitches than Stamford Bridge.

But at the end of the day it was like that for both sides and the result was 4-1. They have no case.

True, but if Chelsea trained on the pitch they had a small, but unfair advantage.

Yes small, if any, which would not have compensated for a 4-1 defeat...

Cool

I wonder if Charlton would have requested a replay if they'd won?

Still, glad I collected my winnings from the bookies straight after the game. Odds for a 4-1 scoreline were 25-1 .
