Thinking of a trip down to the Autosport event at the NEC.

Has any one been and is it worth it for a cheap day out?

Cheers Mick

I went last year, and to be honest it was not worth 20 odd quid to be packed in to what amounts to a very busy trade show. I went to a fair few motorsport events last year, and they have nothing there I have not seen before.

Yes went last year - not brilliant. We paid £24 which included entry to Live Arena Show (approx £10)

Just been this year - Thursday on a free ticket - seemed quiet and didn't seem to be as much going on as last year but this was a trade day - might be busier today / tomorrow.

For a general view on the show (some highlights ), glad I didn't have to pay to get in

Wink

Me and Sparky are going Sunday both leaving the STi's at home going up in a Focus) so anyone sees a focus flashing lights with two prats wearing Scooby gear one of them is me

I just hate those scanty clad women rubbing up to you, just trying to distract you watching the cars LOL

Its £14 entry into the trade stalls, if you want to go into the live arena to watch the shows also then its £24.

We (Sal, her Dad and me) went up there yesterday - it was OK - not overly busy. I dread to think what it will have been like today (and tomorrow). Didn't bother with the live arena this year as last time it was a bit of a joke. We saw some good interviews with Phil Bennett, Martin Brundle and Justin Wilson at the Autosport stand though.

Worth going and the traffic wasn't too bad either.

Me & the missus went yesterday, not a bad day out in all but it's not cheap.

Made her day as she got DC's autograph, and asked him a question during his interview.

Saw the new 03 models - not that much better than the 02, certainly nothing to write home about.
