Is the boot locked at all ?

If worse comes to worse , smash the window and have it replaced this afternoon ... (providing your insurance does window replacement) .. only about £50 , but id rather pay £50 than having someone robbing b*stard see the engine running , smash it anyway and then take the car...

Yeah cheers, good idea but I'm hoping for a less destructive way if at all possible. It's in the work car park with a big fence around it and parents on the way with spare keys. AAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH F_U_C_K I_T

Tried that, wire kept bending, door is (or was) actually open a bit, just hanging on the lock. Wire kept bending coz when you open the door handle the last pull at the end which opens the lock is quite stiff.

This happened to me in France. My youngest sprung the window away fro the door frame/body far enough th get his hand in. If yours is partially ****, try a lady with slim arms!:
surprising just how much window will spring away.

Can't imagine pulling the window back and asking anyone to stick their hands is the most sensible thing to do.
What if the window decides enough is enough, claret everywhere.

Question

Could you stop the engine running by sticking something up the exhaust?

But without the engine running for a long period and the ignition on, wouldn't you overheat the ignition coil?

Hold your hand over the exhaust and it'll stall the motor and save your fuel.

Not a Scoob owner but I got wire through the window and pushed the electric window button, can't remember where the window buttons are on a Scoob.

was only going to tell you the coat hanger thing. try opening the door on the other side of the car, will take a longer coat hanger, but might be easier at the end to pull it.

Cheers for your help guys, how the **** ppl break into cars in seconds is beyond me, with the door slightly open and a big long bit of wire I STILL couldn't get in the car even afer over 1/2hr trying. The electric windows idea is good but coz its an RA I've got manual ones!!!
