Question

From what I can gather so far, a limited number of SA wagons were made. These are supposed to be lightweight (but I dont know which parts i.e. boonet, boot etc) but also came with a/c, e/w etc although these may just have been options. They were also nearly all autos.

Can anyone shed any light on this spec?

Or maybe point me in the direction of a website that lists even the more obscure limited editions?
Thanks
Ben

SIDC FAQ may help.

Question

only one I can think of is the RA..... not SA....

But it is a lightweight version, with shorter gearing.

Again, have a look at the SIDC FAQ.

Thats why I was asking about the SA.

I love the RA spec and as I dont think you can get RA wagons (who rallies a wagon??) that may be the reason for a limited run of 'SA' wagons.

Does anyone know of any Japanese sites for total specification nerds?

Cheers Dunk - I spoke to Lisa (RedDog) today but she doesn't know too much about it. She didn't realise what it was when she bought it.

I'm going to see it tomorrow but just want to find out more about the car first.

Cool

Nice one S.B - I was just looking at that site but hadn't found the info!

It identifies when it was produced but I cant find anything else about it.

Any ideas as to where to look?

Missed the previous SA thread, but I have one too! (with the auto 'box)

I am little confused after reading that thread, though . Does anyone know if they were all supposed to be produced without sideskirts and the lower rear spoiler as I have both on mine?.

Time for a specific WRX-SA forum, I think. Well, if it's good enough for the 22b guys.....

S.A. wagon is from South Africa. Made quite a few and these are bullet proof to protect you from the Sowetto suburbs etc.
