thread was funny... granny in a 'going for it' P1

now its turned into an argument of who is a boy racer and when to speed and not to speed... why argue? its futile and silly arguments...

the stereo typical boy racer is young and cap on in a nova / corsa... we all can picture that
and speeding at anytime is stupid on the road... we all know that

so arguing about saying a boy racer can be older than a certain age is silly, coz of course they can be but that is not the point

and not going fast with ur granny in the car but can when shes not in the car is also silly, coz you could crash into me in my car with my granny...

i say again.. why argue?
just laugh at the thread for what it is...

p.s. not getting at specific people... just commenting on the way threads are going these days...

i was driving home from basingstoke today along the A30 towards camberly, when i spot a P1 up in front,so naturally i speed up to see if he wants to play ,& he does .so we have a very nice blast down the road reaching speeds in xess of 120+(on the private part of the A 30) when we get to the end of our run we pulled aside each other to wave , well you can imagine my surprise when a little white haired old lady in the passenger seat waved back. laugh i nearly p1ssed myself, wot a cool old girl!!!

 

I think this is so cool butyou are going to get slated by everyone on here unfortunately cos they have never in their entire driving life done anything like this as they are all such careful drivers [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

WHAT A LOAD OF ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So being a boy-racer is age related is it. Exactly what age do you qualify for 'not being a boy-racer'? I'm 24 and wouldn't go over 70 with my gran in the car!!!!

Surely you must realise being a boy-racer isn't age or sex related. My g/f freely admits she was a girl-racer and would do things I wouldn't dream of! My uncle will race anything/anywhere no matter the conditions and he is 40 odd with a wife, kid and drives and A6 Quattro.

There are also a lot of nova, corsa, saxo, etc drivers that don't race and despite neons, big zorsts and silly bodykits aren't boy racers either!

WHAT SPEC IS YOUR SAXO... IE 1.1 OR 1.5D....

 

My 'Saxo' is has a full decat exhaust, clear indicators and side repeaters, a momo gear ****, uprated speakers and MP3 head unit, silicon hoses, custom reprogrammed ECU.

Oh, wait!! There's also the matter of the TDO4L turbo, dawes manual boost controller, STI V intercooler, 4WD and some strange marking on the back that says 'Turbo 2000'
