I saw a go kart do a 12.5 second quarter, i kid you not
I left at lunch time so cant comment on what happened this afternoon, Stefs fastest was 13.64, a white 5 door STi did a 13.1 and Saj (I think) did a 13.55 in his STi, Stef went against a Sapphire Cossie, and beat it by a whole second down the strip, but i have no idea what spec it was. Fastest run i saw was a Drag bike, 7.75 seconds 170+ mph terminal speed ?????
I am sure the guys that ran can provide more accurate times, etc when they get home and have had time to relax

It was great to see such a good turn out - I expected about 10 cars when I originally posted in November! Mind you I hope you all appreciated the lovely weather that I booked - has to cash in a few brownie points with the big man for that
Also, surprised at the lack of laughter at the Renault 5 Turbo mob who also turned up in droves - turned out a very busy day especially arriving as part of a convoy of 10+ 5GTs, 22 Scoobs, a Skyline and the odd Supra, Escort and Astra - amazing.
The best Renault 5 was, to be a fair, a beautifully prepped machine - however it had a huge flashy sticker on the side saying 'Proven - the UK's Most Powerful Renault Turbo' - all I can say is that if this is true, then let's see it run and prove itself - did it run - no
Also a laugh to see that dick from Driven doing a run for DRIVEN in a Mini (16.94) in a full Nomex suit and a Helmet!.
Fastest Scoob John Hughes I think, several under 14s, lots of UK cars in the 14-15.5 second mark.
Also good to see Dave Upton discover that his old Type R was faster than his new Skyline - although it is a lovely car - thanks for the drive!
Rannoch
PS Ian the drag bike did 7.45 when I saw him - next run he headed towards the wall and had to back off - still under 11s tho'

A great day, I really regret not running. Scooby turnout was amazing, the troops were definitely rallied
. The drag bikes were amazing, one guy looked like he was leaning at 150+. 178 was the fastest I saw in 7.5s . Mike Rainbows cossie is an awesome machine and I couldnt believe how quiet and civilised the engine was. Its a shame there werent more RS guys there. There were quite a few R5GT and two white EVO's who always seemed to race each other. A couple of skylines and half a dozen motorbikes. The bikes were running 11's and 12's.
I did manage to give Mike R some stick just as he was finishing off his running repairs and even offered him my alternator
.
I got totally lost going and coming back
.
Hope you all like the pictures and see you at Donno
.
cheers

I never saw the silver Supra go against any Imprezas, but i left at lunchtime ? I dont remember anybody saying Supras couldnt do 13s quarters either ??? I have seen the Blitz prepared car before, and suspect that would probably do a lot quicker than that, if it can get the traction down?
.... even I was faster than the nurd from Drive Programm....ha ha ha lol...
What was even funnier was them trying to film Minis and the like - trying to find an angle that didn't have a Scoobie in it. lol....
