Hi all,

Sorry to shout but its got to be something to shout about, either that or i lead a very sheltered life, (no commments please).

Anyway to the point, I was in Holland on monday going to the airport and there it was, what looked like an MY99 (i think) with high rear spoiler, gold 16" alloys, cool grey and a big yellow TAXI light on the roof.

Yes folks a scooby taxi on the rank. i couldn't believe it.

Is it the first sighting or has anyone else seen on, love to know.

SteveM

Wink

May be it was a yellow roof air intake a la WRC cars.

This is not something we should encourage here - most minicab drivers can already extract more than safe performance from a clapped out 20 year old Nissan Bluebird.

Oh yes, I've seen one too !

A white one in Stockholm, I was completely paralysed, couldn't belive my eyes. Parked by the side of the road with a long CB type ariel and lots of TAXI stickers. Unbelievable !

Thumbs up

I was going to post the same topic, I was in Amsterdam last weekend (with the wife ) and i saw that very car, couldn't stop talking about it 'how could they' 'with that fuel ecomnomy' and things like that, until she told me to stop talking about bl*&dy motor vihicles.
In Egypt today (again) the Galant outnumbers the Scooby by about 4 to 1 here, I have not seen anything other than base models or base with spolier of both though. Not surprised at the rate they trash cars here, all seem to be very new or very old, nothing in between, getting a cab get a very old on, they can normally drive.

There's a Scooby and an Evo taxi kicking around here in Rotherham... at least there's one thing, they shouldn't turn up late
