my MY01 front tyres are (after 7,000miles) now clearly lower in tread than the rears.

am i able to just swap them all over? otherwise my fronts will need changing well before the rears.

Tiggs

(on my R1 i just turned the tyre backwards but i assume that dont work on a car!)

Just had mine done at the 7.5K service.

If you read your car manual it recommends that you have this done at this service.

In the manual it tells you to swap fron to rear every 10,000 K's, I swapped mine over at about 5K miles.

I have always done this on my cars regardless as it keeps the tyre wear pretty even all round.

Darren.

My rears are wearing quicker than the fronts by miles.
Always was heavy on the accelerator though..
I am going to swop, I may experiment with the bias on my RA centre diff towards the front drive?
