Admiral Policy Change - any experts out there ?
#1
Just received a letter from our favourite insurance company, Admiral, informing me that because imported cars sometimes take longer to repair they're no longer prepared to supply a courtesy car while imports are being repaired. Can an insurance company change the terms of the policy once the policy has commenced ?, surely I've entered into a contract with them and they have to keep their side of the bargain. Maybe I should seek a discount on my premium. Have to say I only plumped for Admiral because they were the cheapest, £470 fully comp for a 98 STI3, age 35, clean licence but I do live in the cheapest area to insure - dreading the renewal after what I've read on the BB.

I too had the same letter, but from Bell Direct. They did state that they hope this will change as there are ever greater numbers of imported cars on the UK's roads. Fingers crossed huh.
