Thumbs up

What do you think?

All the money sent to Simon

Then if everybody agrees a GIANT Scooby Net cheque presented to 'Children in Need' or 'Comic Relief' (whichever comes first).

No need for multiple charities being sugested, just 2 posts (YES or NO) to the idea.

This would give Scooby Net some 'Air Time' and convince everybody that performance car drivers are not a bad lot after all!

Damn good idea.

Get SDB on telly presenting it to Terry Wogan, and a clip of him in "Sideways de Bonkers" guise doing the deed.

These charities are loaded. lets have some imagination and find some little charities that really need the money,
Dont ever think OXFAM ,RSPCA etc need your money ,they dont.... Thay have Millions in their accounts,
No offence but We can do better at finding a real need(s) for our money to be given to

luke m8 it was just an idea, quite simple to do and will take most of the hassle away from Si as he's work hard on the new BBS.

OK lets consider Comic Relief, they dont seem to give the money away to the likes of Oxfam etc etc. but to smaller charities and projects both here and in the third world.

(by the way if you wana give some cash to the RSPCA my dog needs a new lead! )

Cheers m8

Steve

I think it should be driving related, e.g. a charity that helps children that have been victims of road accidents or something, or education of children in crossing roads, etc.

Must say, I like Carl's suggestion.

Massive publicity on Children in Need is a bit too self-advertising to my cynical tastes. Whereas the self-advertising involved in giving to some sort of car victims is, I dunno, more "appropriate". And get the Transport Minister there for the cameras.

Steve001, you might have a point about Terry Wogan though

BTW I was offline for two weeks. Have we been told where to send that money yet?

BJH (feeling particularly inarticulate this morning, by the look of it)

Good point. By your own lead !!

Carl
I posted this idea (I WAS FIRST !!) a long time ago. It would be great.

I wonder if Simon needs a help dealing with this matter. Simon Ask us . I am sure some folk here could assist you sorting it all out.

I would never give Money to oxfam. My mother used to work for them in a senior job and noticed a lot of money going missing......

Doesn't matter, I wasn't going to ask for a commission anyway
