Hi,

I'm looking to insure an import 1994 WRX.

Please can someone tell me if they have any experience of Keith Micheals insurance, as they have given me a half decent quote.

Any hidden clauses I need to know about?

What are they like when it comes to claims?

Thanks in advance,

Piers

I've used them for 2 years now, no probs - they're just brokers so the policy terms you get will be whatever the insurance underwriter provides.

They've cut their commission to secure my business the last couple of years - nice because it means my premiums are Tesco level yet the benefits are those of a proper, old-fashioned insurer (e.g. hire car etc). Go for it!

Been with them for a year now, with no problems. They gave me the best quote on my 95 WRX.

I got my best quote with them last year and if they can do me a good deal this year I'm staying. Luckily haven't had to test their claims service yet!

They were claiming that it's not worth getting the protected no claims bonus - 1 claim will only knock down NCB from 5 to 3 yrs with them.

[EDIT] Anyone agree / disagree?

Also 'protecting' presumably doesn't work when changing companies (If it should be necessary come renewal time), i.e. if you've had a claim under another company then you're fu**ed, whether or not it was protected.

Cool

Just started with them on 1st August so I'm not in a position to male any comments about the service yet, they did seem OK though and the actual insurer is Norwich Union.

you might want to try Tom (Rum*/pirum) @ schofields or Jeremey @ Randal Pace. They are both running a scheme for scoobs, both uk, jap, and modfied, and combinations of those. My car, the

Cool

Got my renewal notice over the weekend from KM and it is about £70 less than last year. 95WRX with SS BB, dump valve and a few minor cosmetic changes. Me is 26 years old, car kept on drive, cat1 alarm, no tracker needed! £848 for the year!!!

When I added the BB earlier in the year it was only an extra £26!

My contact is Steve Beard, 0208 642 7868.
