Down to personal choice. However for overall build quality, ease of use, and availability/access to the techies then its the Bluei for me. Yes, I use one.
BTW, don't expect these systems to work in the same way as eg a Bel550 (there are some who mistakenly believe that databsase systems should warn them about mobile gatso's....wrong!).

In an ideal world, you need both a GPS based unit and a Bel 550.
The GPS unit will give you much more than adequate warning of any approaching speed-detection units (even if they're on another road, or dummies - though also passive units, ie Specs). The 550 will give you notice of any mobile units (mobile gatso, hand-held radar, hand-held laser) and also tell you (once initially warned by the GPS box) whether the approaching Gatso camera is a live one or not (most are not).
I took the decision to only go with one unit - the Bel 550 - as I felt it gave sufficient warning of any currently common detection equipment (ie Gatsos), and most importantly, told me whether they were actually active or not.
I've had the 550 for a year or so, though even now would get one again - in preference to a GPS unit. When the Specs systems become more prevalent, we're all stuffed anyway, irrelevant of whether you can detect them - or know if they're there - we'll pretty much have to stick to the speed limit everywhere...

I've got a bluei and recommend it highly. I've got a Blinder M10 jammer too, so a laser detector isn't really needed. I'm only unprotected for mobile gatsos but I've never seen 1 in my life so I don't worry too much about them.
