Thumbs up

After a new WRX and for a long time I wanted one in WR Blue Mica with gold wheels (a dream for a long time and finances didn't allow) but now I'm close to being able to afford one (with the help of the bank!) I'm thinking Blue/Black. Seen a couple around locally and they look awesome (when clean at least!).

So Blue/Black WRX saloon - silver or gold wheels?, change the orange indicator lenses or not ?, anything else I should consider from the dealer (for limited cost)?

not wanting to be cynical or anything!
But why are you asking what car you should buy
You've got to drive it, what do you prefer?
Personally I don't care what other people will think of my car (555 blue with gold alloys) as it is my car!!!

Probably doesn't help much but I'd never buy a certain colour car because somebody I didn't know told me that it was the best colour!

It's all personal choice m8. The idea is to make it a little individual, don't let others make your decision for you. If you like Blue/Black best then get it, likewise if you like tart wheels then get them. Just remember that the options are not cheap, it is all too easy to spend extra £,000's.

By the way dealers can only do clear indicators and reflectors, which will stick out like a sore thumb, perhaps you should look at the smoked ones from places like TSL (reflectors not available yet ... I've been waiting months for them)

Look at your budget first, then decide what will be on the top of your wish list. You can always get more bits later.

Finally if you do get it, remember always "shiny side up!!"

Apparently Oakley Garage subaru near bedford have still got my old car...

it's MY01 bug eye in blue black, with PPP. It has the Prodrive/OZ superlegera wheels in very dark grey and it looks sweet. the dark wheels on the black car are stunning.

good luck with whatever car/colour u choose, BUT please dont rely on ur dealer for minor cosmetic changes, not only will he probably charge more he wont have the range such as TSL, Scoobysport, Scooby mania, and with the wrx available in the states the list of goodies will be endless

check out the dress up section of www.i-club.com
