Default Sports cat

ive decided to get a sports cat insted or a decat downpipe, however theres still a few things im unsure on.
1. like a decat down pipe will it need remaping straight away or can i drive it normally.
2 i cant decide between prodive or the japspeed 100cell , what are peoples opionions on these,

at presant i have a H&S centre decat and prodrive back box, which im guessing is 2.5 inch in diameter so would i need a reducer for either of these sports cats???

Cheers
Dan

It should just bolt on to your existing pipework for either of the two you mention. The prodrive one is higher quality I believe.

It 'should' be okay to drive for a while sedately without remap (depending on the car model/year) but to be safe I would remap straight away.

I have a prodrive cat on my car, very good piece of kit. The prodrive is 2.5" bore so will bolt straight on

I agree go for a used prodrive one, I passed the mot easily with this being my only cat on the car, was cheaper than a new non prodrive one as well.

The downpipe on the 2006/7 is a different length so wont fit on its own. If you can get the centre section aswell then it will fit.
