Or just a thought.... contributors could suggest a children's charity which can be accepted or rejected by Sideways-de-Banke and then the dosh is dished out by voting percentages. i.e. Gt Ormond gets 5% votes so 5% of money. Should be seen as fair by all??
Don't let Lord Archer on the premises. DL

BTW Many, many congrats....

I too would vote for distributing the money raised to a number of smaller charities across the country, rather than a single large donation to a larger well known charity.

A few hundred pounds can make a huge difference to some children's charities, and improve many children's lives considerably

Sorry Luke

I missed this earlier...

Don't worry about that just yet... I'm going to set up a voting page so we can vote for the charity we want to send it to. Then I'll work out the best ways to take er money!

All the best

Simon

Simon
I'm sure a lot of folk will say Great Ormond street hospital. But that place is such a focus point for donations. I would like to see it go to a small realy cash strapped place that looks after children or works with them.

POWER TO THE LITTLE PEOPLE !!

But by voting lets all agree to respect the winning choice. (Too much slagging off at the moment on this BBs...Has "tosser" become the "in"word??))

Full marks

Luke

I couldn't agree more with JohnS, every little bit helps especially when its for children.

'Good work that fella' - Simon "sideways' de Banke

Cheers

Thumbs up

Hi Guy's,

I dont want to start a landslide of requests, but if possible, could there be a Parkins Disease Charity on the voting page?
