Just wondered which way round the pipes go again???

The 90 degree pipe is getting pressure from the actuator tee piece, and the straight pipe (on the bottom of the boost controller) bleeds the pressure back to the inlet pipe.

Is this the right way round???? Or should the bottom inlet see pressure and the side outlet bleed the air off???

Maybe it doesn't matter, but someone must know???

Just been and looked at mine, MY00. 90 degree pipe goes in the bottom and the straight goes in the side. Hope this helps.

Have you had them off to clean them or something??

 

Cheers, but not quite what i was after.

Basically i have changed the pipework to samco stuff and routed the pressure from turbo to the side of the boost solenoid and the outlet on the bottom of the solenoid back to the inlet side (on the main black induction hose).

Just wanted to know if this was the right way round?

90 degree one goes to t piece from wastgate actuator on turbo.

straight one goes to t piece which goes to inlet manifold and also joins the hose that goes to underneath the MAF housing/air intake tube.

Hope you didn't use the soft samco small bore tubing ... its not designed to take pressure only vaccuum and you could find yourself with a split pipe and very high boost. The Demon Tweeks catalogue actually states "not suitable for pressure applications"

not sure you are using this but just in case.

Thanks for your concern Bob, i got the stuff direct from Samco and told them it was for boost control (positive pressure), so hopefully it's the correct stuff.
