Hi all,

I am about to get a delta dash Ecutek for my JDM STi-7.

Can anyone that has one of these give reasons for or against getting one of these.

Can I chart things like knock correction, boost, lean or rich fueling, oil pressure, etc in REAL time while driving (ie: have a person reading them out to me etc and I guess they will also be saved for me to view when car is stopped ?)

Can I read everything on this that gauges can read (ie: boost, oil pressure, oil temp, knock, fuel mixture etc etc ?

Any other pluses / minuses also welcome.

Accurate ?

Razor,

It's a worthwhile purchase, especially as you don't have a dealer on your island. It can display anything the ECU monitors (fueling, Knock correction, timing, boost etc.etc.), at varying frequencies down to intervals of every 20ms. Yes you can read up to 4 different sensors in real time and can log as many as you like to file, for later viewing.

You can also monitor any current and historic ECU fault codes, and all the digital switches the ECU reads (like air con button, fan, PAS switch and many many more).

What it can't do is monitor things the ECU does not, so you can't read Oil Temp and Oil Pressure.

I assume the boost reading from the Ecutek will be as accurate as a boost gauge ?
